Tennis helps kids' brains.

Connecting kids through tennis

American children face health challenges like inactivity and obesity, impacting their future. However, tennis programs, such as BCRD's 2025 initiative in the Wood River Valley with USTA Tennis Association Idaho and Wood River Tennis, offer hope by improving academics, behavior, and opportunities for local kids. Volunteer instructors from Wood River Tennis–both adult tennis players and high school tennis team players–will deliver the in-gym and on-court beginning tennis instruction to get kids started playing tennis.

Together in the community, through tennis, we can unlock and prioritize access to these opportunities and invest in local programs that promote kids' well-being.

Tennis helps kids' brains develop!

First, vVolunteer to help us get started and then, let's get kids out to start playing tennis!
