App TeamReach Quick Start Guide

TeamReach Quick Start Guide Instructions (pdf)Download

An Overview.

Summer Outdoor & Winter Indoor

Fun, easy, organized tennis. “Blocks” are reserved weekly court times on the same day and time open to **3.5 to 4.5 level adult and teen players, not for beginners.** Sign up on the TeamReach App to play.** Summer blocks run June 1 - September 30 on a bunch of courts in the area. Winter indoor blocks run November 1 - April 30 at Gravity Fitness & Tennis in Hailey, Idaho.

Welcome to Our Tennis Community!

Get ready to hit the courts! Whether you're a seasoned player or looking to join a friendly match, we help connect players. New this season, we're using the TeamReach app to ensure seamless organization, fair play, and constant communication across the our groups.

RSVPs with TeamReach

Managing court time and player lineups is crucial for a smooth tennis experience. When you receive an invitation to play, open the app, navigate to your group, and tap the Calendar Icon. From there, select the event and choose Yes, No, or Maybe. Your prompt response is vital! If your status remains "Unknown," our captains can't easily reach you, which makes it tough to confirm lineups and secure enough players. Here's a Quick Guide or tutorial on how to use the TeamReach app.

First-Come, First-Served & The Waitlist

Fair play is important to us, and that extends to getting a spot on the court. All event spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If a session fills up, don't worry! Any additional "Yes" responses are automatically placed on a waitlist. Should someone in the main lineup cancel, the app will automatically move the first person from the waitlist into the active lineup. To secure your preferred playing times, we recommend responding as soon as you receive an invite.

Stay Updated: Keep Your Availability Current

Life happens, and plans can change! If your availability shifts, please remember to update your status in the TeamReach app. Changing your response to "No" immediately frees up your spot for another player, while "Maybe" signals to your captain that you might be available if they're short on players. This simple action helps our captains immensely by reducing the need for manual check-ins and ensures our schedules stay accurate and efficient.

Never Miss an Update: Turn On Notifications

Don't be the last to know about a last-minute court change or a new invitation. Make sure your TeamReach notifications are turned ON. In the app, tap the "Gear" icon in the upper right corner of your group. Enable both Push and Email notifications. For the best experience, dive into "Advanced" settings and toggle on notifications for Messages, Events, and Comments. It's also a good idea to check your phone's main settings to ensure TeamReach has permission to send you alerts.

A Note on Communications & Teamwork

The in-app Chat function is a great tool for quick questions and general coordination. However, it's crucial to never rely on a chat message to RSVP. Your availability must be logged using the Yes/No/Maybe buttons to ensure the system accurately manages the waitlist and lineups. Let's aim to respond to all invites within 24–48 hours and avoid leaving your status as "Unknown."

If you need help with any of these features, ask your group captain to help you!

GroupMe: for last-minute messages

GroupMe offers free, quick, and easy group communication. You can send messages in a group chat or one-on-one as a DM. Download the app and create an online account at www.groupme.com. Recommendation: Do NOT agree to load your contacts when prompted during setup. Turn ON app notifications in your phone settings. Learn more here.
