Tennis & Kids.

Connecting kids through tennis

American children are facing significant health challenges, including inactivity and obesity, which can have long-lasting effects. But there's a powerful and engaging solution: tennis. Programs like the BCRD and City of Ketchum 2025 initiatives in the Wood River Valley, in partnership with USTA Tennis Association Idaho and Wood River Tennis, are offering a pathway to a healthier future for local kids.

These programs do more than just get kids moving. They help improve academics, behavior, and unlock new opportunities. Volunteer coaches from Wood River Tennis–including both experienced adult tennis players and high school tennis team members–will deliver in-gym and on-court beginning instruction, helping kids discover the joy of tennis.

Let's come together as a community to give children access to tennis!
